Costco does not mess around when they give out samples!  The Tampax included 5 and the Align was a 7 day trial.  These as well as two others are still available. They don’t always require a membership, so you should give it a try.

New Swagbucks Policy.

  • Posted on July 16, 2011 at 10:04 PM

Until a few days ago you were only allowed one Swagbucks account per household. On July 12, they posted a new policy on their blog announcing everyone in a user’s household could sign up for their own account. There are still a few stipulations.

– We won’t be linking accounts if one of you doesn’t refer the other.

– This policy is in effect moving forward, and doesn’t retroactively apply to older situations where multiple accounts in a household were discovered.

– We’re still only allowing one account per individual. Multiple accounts per person are still expressly prohibited and will be shut down.

What all of this means is that you can now refer your spouse, brother, sister, roommate, live-in aunt or any other person in your household, making for more swagging fun in every house! We’re very excited to have this change take effect, because it allows us to include a lot more people in the Swag Nation.

Starbucks “Treat Receipt” is back for the Summer.

  • Posted on July 15, 2011 at 5:59 PM

If you ask anyone who knows me what makes me do the snoopy dance they’ll tell you Starbucks covered kitties! OK maybe not, but they will say Starbucks and/or kitties.

I could drink Caramel Macchiatos and Shaken Ice Tea lemonades all day. That is one reason I coupon (no joke) so I can afford to feed my addiction.

When I found Starbucks was bringing back their “Treat Receipt” for the summer…. *snoopy dance*  Here’s the details.

From July 18 through September 5, 2011, customers who make a purchase in the morning can bring in their receipt after 2pm and you can order ANY Grande Cold Beverage (16 fl. oz.) for only $2.00 (plus tax) at participating Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada.

FREE National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Magnet.

  • Posted on July 14, 2011 at 7:14 AM

I’ve lost too many family members, friends, and classmates due to alcohol and suicide.

Recently on my “like” spree on facebook, I came across someone who finds samples/freebies and then shares them in a blog.  One of her posts gave an address to get a free magnet with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. This site also offers free booklets on the subject. I requested 3.  One for my office, one for my home and one for another department I work in.

I’m praying I don’t ever have to use it, or give it out.
